The last part of the new T.S.I. gallery at the National Museum will feature an edited version of the Creative Cowboy film on Alick Tipoti: Zugub, the mask, the spirits and the stars. It’s a great place to finish off the show because Alick talks about the relationship between landscape, language, mythology and his art and dance practice. Super stuff because performance is what connects the past, present and future on the TSI and it’s masters like Alick who make that linkage in real time.
