Ladakh

A few pictures from the recent trek I led in Ladakh for World Expeditions. it was a great walk from Lamayuru just off the Indus Valley over into the Wanla and Hinju valleys then across the Zanskar River into the Markha valley and over the Zalung Karpo-la into the Karnak watershed and finally to Dat on the western edge of Rupshu and the magnificent Changtang Plains. it was a fantastic group, huge thanks to Rod, Jude, Bloss, Andy, John and Robyn for being such amazing trek mates on this little expedition. Also great respect for the local crew – Tsering Nurboo, No. 1 guide, Gopal, No. 1 cook (a better team a leader couldn’t find anywhere), and Man and Angchuk keeping it all going.

There will be another trek to the same region in June/July next year, if you’re interested please contact World Expeditions.
